In short

  • These terms cover this website only. A firm’s use of Monition is governed by its own written agreement.
  • Monition is not a law firm and gives no legal advice.
  • Every screen, company and example on this site is illustrative and fictional.
  • Joining the waitlist does not create a contract or guarantee an invitation.
  • Questions: [contact email].

About these terms

This website is run by [legal entity], [registered address] (“we”). These terms apply when you use it. By using the site, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

These terms do not cover the Monition product. If your firm is invited, its use of Monition is governed by a separate written agreement, and that agreement takes precedence over anything on this site.

Illustrative content

Every screen, firm, company, record, forecast and scorecard shown on this site is illustrative. They are fictional and do not depict any real company or matter. Any resemblance to a real organisation is unintended.

Descriptions of Monition on the site are general, and its examples are illustrative. Features may change. Nothing on the site is a promise of performance or results.

Joining the waitlist

Joining the waitlist does not create a contract and does not guarantee your firm an invitation. Monition is invite-only: we decide which firms to invite, and we may close or change the waitlist at any time.

Please do not include confidential client information in the form or in emails to us. How we handle what you send is set out in the privacy notice at /privacy.

Using the site

You may use the site for lawful purposes only. In particular, you agree not to:

  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its servers or any connected system
  • test or probe the site’s security without our written permission
  • interfere with the site’s operation, or send it malicious code
  • copy or extract its content in bulk by automated means
  • use the site or its forms to send unsolicited messages

Intellectual property

The site’s text, design, screens, images and the Monition name and wordmark belong to [legal entity] or the people who licensed them to us. Photographs are used under their licences.

You may view the site, print pages such as the brief for your general counsel, and share links to it, including inside your firm when evaluating Monition. Any other copying or reuse needs our written permission.

Links to other sites

Where the site links to another website, we do not control that site and are not responsible for its content or how it handles your information.

Availability and changes to the site

We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the site without notice. We do not guarantee that the site will always be available or free of errors.

Our liability

The site is provided as it is, for general information. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from use of the site or from reliance on its content.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law. [Liability wording to be confirmed by counsel.]

Governing law

These terms are governed by [governing law, to be confirmed by counsel], and disputes about them are for [courts, to be confirmed by counsel].

Changes to these terms

When we change these terms, we update the date at the top of this page. The version on the site when you use it is the one that applies.
